FuckPlays OPENING NIGHT and PARTY!!!

The good folks of Working Man's Clothes Productions want to make sure that EVERYONE in the world shows up at the Opening Night Party.

Come party down with the huge cast and crew of FUCKPLAYS at the Ohio Theatre! Immediately after our first performance (Wed., March 28th), we will be busting out the drinks and enjoying some delicious foods in celebration of all things decadent!

Featuring live music by acclaimed underground hip-hop group Vamoose, we're going to party like it's the end of the world (i.e. 2007)!

fuckplays features eight sexually-charged new plays written by some of NYC’s hottest emerging playwrights: Obie Award-winner Kyle Jarrow (A Very Merry Unauthorized Children’s Scientology Pageant), NYIT Award-winner Bekah Brunstetter (To Nineveh: A Modern Miracle Play), Eric Sanders (creator and playwright of Dread Awakening), New School University’s MFA Playwright William Charles Meny (The Discomposers), Columbia University’s MFA Playwright Joshua Hill (The Impotence of Being Ernest), and mythic fiction writer Casey Wimpee (Bloody Elephants), coupled with a pair of the Lone Star State’s most provocative dramatists: screenwriter Justin Cooper (Flickgrifter’s Union) and Greg Romero (The Shelter). Directors include Thomas Caruso (Mimi le Duck starring Eartha Kitt at New World Stages), NYIT Award-winner Isaac Byrne (To Nineveh: A Modern Miracle Play), Stephen Brackett (Third Man Productions’ Bloody Mary at Clemete Soto Velez), Matthew Hancock (DTNY’s Dracula at Urban Stages), Steven Gillenwater (Oceanside Parkway at American Place Theatre), Diana Basmajian (Play With Faun at the Fringe), Julie Rossman (Kimberly Rosenstock’s Discovering Columbus), and Cole Wimpee (Working Man’s Clothes’ The Woodpecker).
